Pandit to Offer Thanks for Government Bailout

Vikram S. Pandit , Citigroup ’s chief executive, is expected to tell a government panel overseeing the bailout program that the bank owes a “large debt of gratitude” to American taxpayers for stabilizing it with billions of dollars of federal aid, according to his prepared testimony.
